The collection is the quintessence of the brand's work over the past 10 years. Each model has its own distinctive DNA, which is presented in reinterpreted elements, shapes, and models: the two-tone coats that have become iconic, corset lines, accent basques, flirty feathers that came from Katya's ballroom dancing, sexy mesh and leather. All these attributes enrich the everyday wardrobes of our clients with femininity and playfulness.
In 2014, the COAT began its journey with the capsule consisting of 12 colorful coats, and today the show features outerwear in a series of pieces that play with volume, texture, and drapery, creating a visual narrative that evolves from classic to avant-garde. The brand's heritage is reflected in their fur coats, sheepskin coats, numerous coats, caps, and bombers, all reinterpreted for modern times.
“This collection is the result of many years of work because, in addition to the design that is engraved from collection to collection, an important asset of the brand is the search for fabrics and manufacturers from all over the world. Various textures have been an integral part of the COAT since the beginning of the brand's formation. We work with a large number of factories, which is always a challenge, but we went ahead and worked through all the variety of complex textures in one shade of cherry red that was prepared for us in different parts of the world: wool, feathers, eco-leather, cashmere, mesh, tinsel, eco-fur, patent leather, shoes, and the entire accessory group. We used a huge selection of textures to make this collection really complex, as a result of the first decade of the COAT.” - says Katya Silchenko, creative director and designer at the COAT.
It is the play with fabrics, shapes, and colors that creates the multidimensionality of the collections. Thus, against the background of the main shade of cherry red, which is balanced by classic beige and gray, the headliner of this story is a pink dress, which, in contrast to the color, emphasizes maturity and confidence with its cut.
The finale walk, in a deep singular shade, amplifies the impact of the collection's main color.
And at the end of the show, instead of a period, the COAT adds an exclamation mark with Katya Silchenko's emotional walk alongside the entire team — over 100 brand employees from the Kyiv and Cherkasy production facilities, stylists, office staff, and the creative team.
