the COAT by Katya Silchenko: The S/S'24 collection brings colors to life, like vitamins

Every the COAT campaign is a separate world, with its heroes, rules, and meanings. Movement artist Victoria Yerchyk (@viktoriayerchyk) became our sensual interpreter of the collection. She manifested herself as a metaphor for the flexible elasticity of a young flower that throws out a bud and blooms despite everything.

"While shooting the campaign, I felt like a blooming, gentle, and relaxed woman who enjoys her changes. As a person and as an artist, I want to promote curiosity and lust for life, which is a major component of my happiness. As long as I have the strength to remain curious about any of my experiences, feelings, and thoughts, I am happy and alive. My 82-year-old grandmother always said that there was nothing worse than apathy. Sensitivity and interest in the world is a privilege, the greatest miracle, and in this I feel the strength," — says Victoria Yerchyk.

"I've noticed that the COAT woman has a cool background; she has confidence, self-respect, and courage... so, for our campaign, we were looking for a personality with character, charisma, individuality, and passion for her work," — Katya Silchenko, designer and creative director of the COAT.

We present a collection filled with happy and powerful associations with our DNA: a range of pastel colors and color blocking that originate from our first coat collections. The collection is also filled with a mix of voluminous textures, recognizable feminine lines, and airy silhouettes, as well as playfulness, sophistication, and comfort at the same time.

The colors of the collection are like vitamins. Lavender, melted butter, mint, claret, peony, shades of purple, green tea, and powder are combined in color combinatorics. By the way, these are the shades that Pantone Institute announced as the main colors of 2025.
