Studio Constance FW26: A Journey Through Emotion and Form

Studio Constance celebrates the modern woman: empowered, independent and unafraid to explore and express her inner world. Layered textures and exaggerated silhouettes translate emotion into functional art, inviting the wearer to embody the collection’s expressive spirit.

Studio Constance presented its latest FW26 collection during Copenhagen Fashion Week. The collection draws inspiration from moments of introspection and emotional intensity. “This is the darkest depths of our persona. It shows the emotions behind the brand and builds a foundation from the darkest place, which I felt was a powerful place to start,” says Rebecca Dovenryd Almberg.

Featuring Studio Constance’s signatures - exaggerated, elongated silhouettes paired with textures that evoke friction and emotion. Key materials include vegetal leathers, curly shearling and sheer knits. Standout pieces include a dramatic curly shearling trench coat, a red wide-shoulder blazer, distressed maxi dresses and snake-imitation leather pants. Shoes and boots feature adjustable shafts, allowing wearers to customize the height and style as they wish. Every aspect of the show from the collection itself to the location; a stunning Bjarke Ingels building near Nordhavn, offering breathtaking views of the water, immerses the audience in the emotional core of the brand, blending modern luxury with raw, expressive sensibility. Dark, religious-inspired motifs translate into a Studio Constance vision of “feral luxury,” that celebrates strong, confident and modern women.

Models are seen carrying and clutching life-size crocheted puppies - emotional support animals offering moments of lightness against the emotional weight of everyday life. Miniature puppies peek from pockets and dangle from bags, always within reach to comfort the wearer. Each piece is handmade locally using deadstock wool and cotton yarns, transforming excess materials into objects of care and connection.

The collection is designed using only recycled and responsibly sourced materials, which shapes Studio Constance’s every design choice. “Working with deadstock fabrics and leftover yarns challenges creativity in thoughtful ways,” - Rebecca Dovenryd Almberg.
