Selina Keer collection: the intersection of softness and drama
During Riga Fashion Week this season, Latvian designer Selina Keer played with contrasts: soft pastel colors and metallic shine, oversized silhouettes, and body lines emphasizing corsets, as well as monochromatic looks and color blocking.

From an early age, Selina, born in Latvia, nurtured her imagination, longing for beauty and fairy tales, enriching it with impressions from painting, music, poetry, cinema, drama, and design. She began sewing at a very young age, and by the time she was twelve years old, she was already creating interesting images and outfits for herself. Inspiration and creativity know no bounds of time, space, or age. They have no words; they simply manifest themselves. Selina absorbed the love of sewing from her grandmothers, who had talents for embroidery with beads and richelieu. Therefore, in all the collections of the designer, you will find lace and richelieu – a connection between generations and traditions.
Selina Keer has come a long way, from being a student of experienced professionals in the family business to a guest creative designer for other brands. She has developed her own model of beauty and expresses it in her creations. Her life is dedicated to fashion and beauty.
"I draw my own unique style, which combines femininity, relevance, and fashion. The world continues to change, and the color scheme of female individuality, like a litmus of future changes, reflects a new personality. It is an encompassing element of change that enables us to create a new, decidedly feminine world. The lifestyle of a woman who is always herself, beautiful in the evening and sophisticated in the afternoon", - says designer.
