From an early age, Selina Keer nurtured her imagination with a longing for beauty and fairy tales, feeding it with impressions from painting, music, poetry, cinema, drama, and design. She inherited a love for sewing from her grandmothers, who were skilled in bead embroidery and Richelieu lace. As a result, every collection by Selina features lace and Richelieu - symbols of a connection between generations and traditions. She grew up shaping her own vision of beauty and expressing it through her creations. Her life is wholly dedicated to fashion and beauty.

The latest Selina Keer collection, presented at Riga Fashion Week, was inspired by the 1980s and ’90s, incorporating modern fabrics, technologies, and current trends. The traditional textures of these decades are reinterpreted in a new context, where contrasting elements merge into a cohesive look. The main idea is not merely to quote styles of the past, but to adapt them with consideration for new materials and technological advancements.

“I create my own unique style—one that combines femininity, relevance, and fashion. The world continues to change, and the color palette of female individuality is like a litmus test for future transformations - a reflection of a new identity. It is an element of sweeping change that empowers us to shape a new, distinctly feminine world. A lifestyle for the woman who is always herself: beautiful in the evening, sophisticated in the afternoon.”
