The idea of this drop is illustrated through two voluminous textures of denim, namely, the wavering jacquard called "pike" combined with chenille fabric. This tandem is mixed with translucent dresses, delicate underwear, and thin cashmere. The symmetry and balance for which we strive in life are sublimated into this collection.
"In this campaign, we seem to wash away everything superfluous, revealing the essence. We want to show that comfortable and basic things can be sexy because they transmit our inner state", shares the stylist Eugenia Skvarska.
"I had the idea of creating this drop for quite awhile. But to make it out of plain denim would be too simple. Moreover, we wanted to underline the voluminous balun shoulders and silhouettes of the collection through the structure of the fabrics. Together with the team, we began to search for materials that would allow us to convey creative ideas into real products. So went the months of the hunt for the fabrics that would be just right, and both Premiere Vision Paris and Milano Unica gave the needed results", says Katya Silchenko, the COAT’s designer and creative director.
