More than 10,000 athletes are expected to compete at the Olympic Games in Paris, each hoping to claim one of the coveted medals on offer. The margins between gold, silver and bronze often come down to split-seconds, requiring the most advanced technology and expertise to separate the difference. Thankfully, this is OMEGA’s 31st occasion in the Official Timekeeper role, assuring precision and reliability when it matters most.

OMEGA has been recording the Paralympic Games since 1992. This year, Paris will bring around 4,400 athletes together to compete in 22 sports – all contested in front of an expected 3.4 million spectators. Each event has its own specific requirements and category challenges. Therefore, OMEGA will use the exact same equipment as the Olympic Games, along with some unique additions to suit this inspiring occasion.

The Chronoscope collection combines the legendary Speedmaster design with OMEGA’s chronograph wristwatches from the 1940s.

SPEEDMASTER CHRONOSCOPE, 43 MM, STEEL ON STAINLESS STEEL

This 43 mm model is a tribute to the Olympic Games Paris 2024 and features the three main colours of the event, including gold, black and white. The timepiece is crafted in stainless steel with a silvery white opaline dial and blackened subdials. Additional features include a black anodized aluminium bezel ring with tachymeter scale, Arabic numerals in 18K Moonshine™ Gold, and leaf-shaped hands and subdial hands that are PVD Moonshine™ Gold treated.

Most notably, the dial is printed with three dark grey timing scales in a 1940’s “snail” design, including a tachymeter scale, a pulsometer scale, and a telemeter scale. On the reverse side, the commemorative stainless steel caseback reveals a stamped medallion with a frosted base, featuring a mirror-polished Paris 2024 logo, along with the stamped words, "Paris 2024" and the Olympic Rings.

Presented on a stainless steel bracelet including OMEGA’s patented comfort release adjustment system, the watch features a small-seconds counter at 9H, and a 60-minute and 12-hour recorder at 3H. Inside, the timepiece is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9908.

SEAMASTER DIVER 300M, 42 MM, STEEL ON STEEL

The Olympic Games Paris 2024 will mark the 31st time since 1932 that OMEGA has fulfilled the vital role of Official Timekeeper at the Olympic Games. To celebrate that historic occasion, this special Seamaster Diver 300M offers a sporty design in white, gold, and black - following the official Olympic colour chart.

The 42 mm case is crafted from stainless steel and 18K Moonshine™ Gold, with a bezel that features a laser-structured diving scale in positive relief, and a single dot of Super-LumiNova at 12 o’clock.

Behind the domed and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on the front, the laser-engraved white ceramic dial has been given a matte finish with polished waves in positive relief. Along with transferred markings in dark grey, the date display at 6 o’clock is inscribed with Paris 2024 typography in black. All of the hour markers are presented in diamond-polished 18K Moonshine™ Gold with white Super-LumiNova, while the facetted hands are finished with an 18K Moonshine™ Gold PVD treatment, including the central seconds hand with its Paris 2024 logo.

On the reverse side, the commemorative stainless steel caseback includes OMEGA’s patented NAIAD LOCK. There is a stamped medallion with a mirror-polished and frosted Paris 2024 logo in 18K Moonshine™ Gold, along with the stamped words, "Paris 2024" and the Olympic Rings, which are mirror-polished on a frosted structure.

The watch is set on a stainless steel bracelet with OMEGA’s new Quick Change System and a patented rack-and-push extendable foldover clasp with extra diver extension. It is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800 and is delivered in a special presentation box.
