Summer-Ready by Design

Ahoi neomatik sky and sand are made for getting wet – and everything that comes after: hair still slightly damp, a fresh linen shirt thrown on, the scent of the sea breeze lingering on your skin, heading out to dinner. With dial colors that evoke open horizons and sunlit shorelines, NOMOS Glashütte is extending its popular Ahoi series with two versatile new watches. Both are in a mid sized diameter of 36.3 millimeters, making them suitable for a wide range of wrists. Sky features a serene shade of blue, while sand shimmers with a warm golden tone. The dials also feature an orange seconds hand and green luminescence; color accents that add a note of sporting intent without disrupting the watch's refined appearance.

Engineered for Every Adventure

Notably compact, Ahoi neomatik sky and sand come in a stainless steel case that sits just 9.1 millimeters tall – a profile more commonly associated with dress watches than with robust timepieces. It is a balance that defines the NOMOS approach to sports watches: robust where they need to be, refined everywhere else. The stainless steel case back is secured by six screws, and a playful whale engraving highlights the water resistance of 200 meters. The crown is both protected and screw-down, with a red warning ring adding an important visual cue. If the ring is visible, the crown needs one or two more turns before the watch enters the water. The curved sapphire crystal, which is anti-reflective on both sides, ensures excellent legibility even in bright sunlight.

The Art of Precision

At the heart of Ahoi neomatik beats the mechanical caliber DUW 3001, designed and built entirely in Glashütte, Germany. At just 3.2 millimeters in height, it is this movement that makes the watch model's slim silhouette possible. Its automatic winding is complemented by the in-house NOMOS swing system and the DUW regulation system; the caliber is adjusted for precision in six positions. It is, in every sense, a NOMOS movement.
