"My brand has always been a personal exercise of my creativity, evolving as I grow as a designer and as a person. It is a living organism. Many things have happened in the last year that set me on the road to travel. I love travelling by car, and that inspired me to create "Road Trip”.”
As travellers, we continually learn and negotiate our personal meanings and concepts with everyone we meet on the road. This collection merges diverse elements, playing with new materials, refining familiar ones, and fostering both new and established partnerships.
Reflecting on resources and pace, we have chosen to incorporate pieces from our previous collection, symbolising a backpack from HOME brought on this road trip, combined with newly designed pieces found along the way.
Our "Road Trip” suitcase includes: luxury basics re-edited in print, made in partnership with Unifi using recycled bottle fibre REPREVE in a super comfortable floating knit capsule. A range of denim pieces using TENCEL ™, in collaboration with Lenzing and Canatiba. Handmade oversized pullovers in resined wool, handmade by artisans in Brazil using materials from Circulo. And a significant amount of handmade pieces in macrame working with yarns by Amorino Fios and crochet for layering, which are central to our brand's identity, using responsibly sourced materials such as cotton rope, recycled fish wire, and industrial loom waste from our jacquard partner lnnovativ.
The collection's colour palette introduces blue to our signature off-white, green, orange, and red, emphasizing practicality and comfort with the addition of hoodies and tracksuit bottoms in vibrant exquisite jacquards. The show's location is a skatepark which translates our effortless and easy approach to image creation, with a styling focused on mixing swimwear with tailoring and sneakers with chunky knits.
Our women are global citizens, living in the present and making meaningful connections wherever they go. Rooted in sustainability from the outset, we are honoured to showcase this collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week, continuing our commitment to responsible practices and positive, lasting impact.
We are grateful for the support from our partners in bringing this to life. Simple Organic is responsible for our makeup. Veja and Tabitha Ringwood have provided footwear, believing in handmade craftsmanship and ethical sourcing. Hot Futures has contributed with sunglasses, and our jewellery, crafted in collaboration with Carlos Penna, features responsibly sourced rubber from the North East of Brazil. A massive thank you to all artisans who have collaborated with us this season, co-designing this vision from the outset.
