Using the finest materials sourced in Paris and Italy, Birgitte Herskind continues to refine her techniques to create clothing that is both feminine and versatile, sexy and stylish.

Our approach to design is stringent and tailored suiting mixed with transparent pieces in knit and mesh, and our signature, contemporary drapes. Herskind experiments with soft, unstructured forms that convey effortless elegance. Each drape is first folded in paper and then transferred to fabric, creating unique three-dimensional effects.

Feminine Silhouettes with Masculine Elements

The SS25 collection masterfully intertwines the essence of tailoring, the cornerstone of our designs. Each piece is meticulously constructed, starting with our signature tailoring that sets the foundation for the entire collection. This season, we emphasize fitted silhouettes with structured shoulders, creating a harmonious balance between the sartorial tradition and modern refinements. While the collection leans more feminine - waist is accentuated in several pieces, enhancing the feminine silhouette – Herskind retains masculine details such as shirts with oversized cuffs and bespoke cufflinks, waistcoats and pleated pants with press folds. The new blazer with drawstring closing, can be styled loose or as a wrap-around, offering versatile wear, and looks equally good with the matching mini-skirt or fold-over pants.

Our structured cocoon dress highlights the collarbone and meshes at the bottom, while the draped top can be tightened with a drawstring and the skirt with cape adds a dramatic touch to any occasion. Our sheer skirt with sequins and built-in briefs, along with the transparent knit tube top and skirt, are not for the faint of heart yet pared with an oversize blazer or a crisp white shirt, almost anyone can pull them off. Our hand drawn lily print brings a fresh, new dimension to the collection as it is featured on both a halterneck top and a flirty dress cut from a single square piece, showcasing our commitment to fresh takes on our staple styles.

The SS25 collection includes lightweight tops and dresses perfect for hot summer days or as part of delicate layering on cooler nights. Our mesh pieces, like the sheer skirt and transparent knit sets, offer a playful yet sophisticated look, while the structured cocoon dress, halter neck designs, and draped tops demonstrate our attention to both form, function and comfort.

We’ve curated a tight color palette of soft and muted tones, ensuring the collection is both stylish and practical. This is what clothing should be – beautiful, versatile and timeless. The color palette verges from soft hues such as cream, powder, sand, light asparagus and soft sage to toffee, grey, khaki and pitch black. Our collection includes utility pants, white tank tops, and denim pieces that offer both comfort and style. Long shorts and voluminous trousers provide a fresh take on classic summer staples. The lingerie-inspired dresses add a touch of sensuality, while the alternative knitted twin set with a cape and top underneath adds modern edge.
