Against the picturesque backdrop of the old church, models emerged from a VIP bus, striding down the cobblestone runway to a dynamic soundtrack by Kristoffer Holtermann and Johan the First. The event drew an impressive crowd of over 600 attendees, a pleasing sight for the brand's first-ever show at Copenhagen Fashion Week. The collection offers an irreverent nod to the art of barrier jumping, free rides, and light rebellion. At its heart is a sense of risk-taking and rule-breaking, manifesting in wearable yet edgy pieces that defy expectations.
About the brand
KRISALEXANDER is a design venture born out of Copenhagen, Denmark, founded by Kristoffer Alexander Holtermann in 2023. The creative direction explores subcultural themes with an uncompromising attitude towards quality fabrics, balancing luxury techniques with streetwear elements showcased as ready-to-wear collections in silhouettes that radiate self-confidence. With no formal training specific to fashion design, Holtermann credits his understanding of garments and construction to his upbringing in a family with a deep heritage in the fashion industry, providing a foundation and experience of how to build each piece and the subsequent feelings evoked by quality fabrics.
KRISALEXANDER’s journey parallels Holtermann, chronicling the evolution of a man from adolescence to maturity. Each collection continues to evolve in tandem with the creative director and culminates in a premiere launch debut presentation during Copenhagen Fashion Week in August 2023.
