The Highlights: Copenhagen Fashion Week SS'25

Day one of SS25 Copenhagen Fashion Week will commence today, kicking off with a highly curated schedule of some of the biggest names in Danish fashion.

Following the first talk of the season which will take place in the Polestar Space, the day will commence with the opening reception, welcoming the SS25 edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week. OpéraSport will officially open the show and presentation schedule and Alectra Rothschild / Masculina will close off the day with an open to all show. With a focus on emerging voices alongside established leaders, the day promises an exciting start to the week ahead.

Copenhagen Fashion Week SS25 Opening Reception

For the SS25 edition, the Opening Reception will take place on the Monday 5 August at 12:00 PM CEST. The event will gather the international and Nordic fashion industry to officially kick off the season. A welcoming speech will be delivered by Cecilie Thorsmark, CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week followed by keynote speeches from Anne Pascual, Senior Vice President of Design, Marketing and Content at Zalando, and Arizona Muse, CPHFW Sustainability Ambassador for SS25. The Opening Reception is co-hosted by Fashion in Helsinki, Dansk Fashion & Textile and Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF).

OpéraSport as opening show for SS25

OpéraSport, established in Copenhagen by Stephanie Gundelach and Awa Malina Stelter, will be the opening show of Copenhagen Fashion Week SS25. Integrating classic and contemporary styles with the sporty edge of Copenhagen, OpéraSport ensures relevance and timelessness in every piece.

Small talks - big conversations: the power of community

Copenhagen Fashion Week will once again bring small talks - big conversations, supported by Vogue Business, to a live audience, inviting industry leaders and creatives to discuss a wide range of topics and issues within the fashion industry. Attendance to the talk program is open to the public and will include a 30-minute panel talk followed by a 15-minute Q&A.

Today, Monday 5 August, Alectra Rothschild/Masculina will be presenting their second showcase as part of the CPHFW NEWTALENT scheme and Rolf Ekroth will be presenting his third and final showcase as part of the CPHFW NEWTALENT scheme.
