Drawing from the legacy of the S. Kirov fishery, founded in 1947, the collection incorporates elements of workwear, coastal nature, and tools used by fishermen, reflecting the resilience of island life. The designs evoke a deep connection to the island's traditions, combining modern fashion with timeless references to local craftsmanship. Each piece celebrates the islanders’ ability to thrive in harmony with nature, blending functional aesthetics with cultural significance.
In addition to the garments, the show featured creative eyewear by designer Tin Nelemans, made using 3D-printing technology. This innovative addition highlighted CAROLXOTT's commitment to unique, forward-thinking design.
CAROLXOTT, a brand known for its colorful and one-of-a-kind pieces, invites wearers to tell their own stories through fashion, with each item crafted with care in Estonia. Designer Cärol Ott reflects on the brand’s origins, inspired by life on a small Estonian island: “I’ve always been captivated by the people, traditions, and history of these islands, and I strive to capture these stories in every collection.”
The result is a clothing line that is as much about heritage as it is about the future—a perfect blend of past and present that invites the wearer to embark on their own journey.
