For Spring/Summer 2026, Caro Editions returns to a place of deep personal meaning: under Knippelsbro, the bridge where founders Caroline and Frederik Bille Brahe were married. In that moment, surrounded by friends, they boarded a tourist boat and floated through the city’s canals - a journey that now becomes the backdrop for a different kind of love procession.

"Under the Bridge" is a show about memory, intimacy, and the beauty of everyday life in Copenhagen - but also about soft resistance, visibility, and emotional symbolism. Inspired in part by Yoko Ono’s Brides on Tour, the show reframes the figure of the bride not as tradition-bound, but as an activist, a carrier of feeling, and a symbol of presence in public space.

"When Frederik and I got married under the bridge, it was so romantic and a bit crazy. Just us really. As I arrived by boat with my attendants this ray of sunlight came out and shone on us like a spotlight. It was perfect. Then it poured. Such fun. Nostalgia and memories are always an influence for me. The show reflects this, it’s my kind of wedding party. I always want to show my clothes as a total expression, I style everything and this is my wedding look. With a down-to-earth bride in a lace hoodie, silk windbreaker and custom Crocs as the finale and lots of glamour before. She can dance all night in her Crocs and the wedding guests can dress to impress, that’s the true Caro spirit," explains Caroline Bille Brahe.

The raw space beneath the bridge - with its concrete walls, cobblestones, steel beams – meets Caro’s world of playful colour, softness, and craftsmanship. It’s a contrast that feels just right: romantic and industrial, private and performative, deeply personal yet open to the street.

The collection reflects this layered symbolism: flowing dresses that trail like veils, hand-embroidered pieces inspired by love letters, wedding keepsakes, and archival materials. Composer Frederik Valentin scores the show with a shifting punk/pop soundscape - fragments from a long-ago wedding slowly unfolding into something melodic, emotional, even euphoric.

"This collection is inspired by vintage silks, classic polka dots and checks. There’s lots of black, a first for me, and glorious colours and contrasts. I was very inspired by the Under the Bridge theme, thinking about wedding guests of all ages, sizes and personal styles. I love the juxtaposition of rich silks in normal almost workwear shapes. Comfortable and easy to wear and glamorous at the same time," says the brand.

This season also marks a landmark collaboration with Mulberry, where Caroline has reworked vintage Mulberry bags into eight one-of-a-kind pieces, each infused with her unmistakable whimsical touch. Using bows, embroidery, playful appliqués, and unexpected pairings of colour and texture, these bags embody Caro’s vision of giving storied objects a second life. Each piece is a love letter to craftsmanship and individuality - an invitation to carry history in a way that feels entirely new.

"In my generation if your mother had a Mulberry bag you were lucky. My mum had one and I felt so cool when I borrowed this bag. Now I have made my own Mulberry bags with Caro silk bows and checked Mulberry lining on the outside instead of being hidden inside," shares Caroline.

Under the Bridge is not just a show – it’s a love letter to a city, a marriage, and the quiet power of showing up together in full colour.” – Caroline Bille Brahe, founder

About Caro Editions

Founded in 2022 by Caroline Bille Brahe, Caro Editions is a Copenhagen-based clothing label rooted in intuition, playfulness, and great craftsmanship. With a hands-on, impulsive approach, the brand blends rich nostalgia and modern ease - often using deadstock Chanel, Dries Van Noten, and Harris tweed to create expressive, wearable pieces. From their atelier in Borgergade, each garment is imagined, designed, and shared with deep personal involvement, often in limited numbers. Caro Editions lives in the space between the spontaneous and the sentimental - where colour, community, and individuality meet. It’s not about trends. It’s about personal style. Very Caro.
