The brand’s designer, Alina Balykina, drew inspiration from the childhood and worldview of filmmaker Sofia Coppola, renowned for her exploration of characters' inner worlds and her mastery in conveying their emotions through colour and composition. ‘She embodies grace, talent, and creativity without unnecessary noise, fear, or aggression. Her films are complex and romantic, and the emotions she evokes remain’, says Alina. 'In all 8 of her films, she explores different aspects of the female experience, which resonates with me because I am guided by this when developing dress designs and concepts. Also, Sofia is sweet and compassionate, and this endlessly inspires me,' the designer shares.
Secret Garden is about hidden depths within every woman. Like cultivating a beautiful garden, a woman taking care of her inner self over time. This collection captures the subtle strength and beauty that each woman possesses, reflecting her journey of growth and blossoming.
The collection was created like a movie, blending BALYKINA's iconic designs with a new vision. A special highlight of this collection is the brand's famous transformer dresses, which are an essential part of every collection. Favourites among brand lovers and international influencers, Lolita and Rosali, have been combined in a new design, adding more functionality with a changeable skirt length.
The new Resort '24 collection blends structural elements with sophistication and elegance, meticulously crafted with satin and light, semi-transparent sequins in every detail. The colour palette includes pastel shades of blue, peach, and cream, which are harmoniously combined with deep and bold burgundy, enhancing the mood of the collection and reminding of the different angles of every woman.
